LGS SportLab supported Safilo Group, world leader in the design, production and distribution of eyewear, in the conclusion of an important ten-year global agreement with David Beckham for the homonymous license of his first eyewear collection. LGS played a key role in the development of the project. From the embryonic idea up to the current operation, the agency is the Safilo’s partner in relations with the Fashion House. Safilo thus aims to occupy the premium segment of men’s eyewear, complementary to other prestigious brands already present in its portfolio. LGS also took care of the planning of all communication activities for Safilo online and offline; in particular, LGS was in charge of strategic planning and the complete management of the dedicated Instagram account @dbeyewear. The collection, presented to the market in January 2020, was premiered on David Beckham’s Facebook and Instagram social platforms with a pool of over 60 million followers, not really a bad kick off of the project.
